Welcome to Ashantee Music!

Matching Exceptional Students With Quality Instruments

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Yamaha Xeno YTR-8335S silver trumpet in Bb.  It is in superb condition:  plating about 99.5% with just a tiny bit of wear, most of which is tucked up under the leadpipe on the third valve where you can’t see it unless you’re really looking for it.  A few extremely tiny dings and imperfections—again, all of the type you really have to go hunting for.  As you can tell by the photos, it’s a bright, shiny, impressive horn!  Just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had new water key corks, tuning slide O-rings, and valve felts installed.  All tuning slides are free.  Valves are fast and smooth with excellent compression.  Includes the original Custom Xeno hard case with lots of external wear, but if you prefer no case, or a new or used double or triple case or bag, we have lots of options available.  Also includes Bach 7C and Bach 5C mouthpieces, new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec leather finger protector, and new ProTec slim profile straight mute.  Bach valve oil and Leblanc Slide-Eze are for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  This is Yamaha’s most popular Xeno, designed to complete with the Bach 37 Stradivarius and do everything well:  marching band, concert band, select band, ensemble, and solo work.  A great pro horn in great condition at more than a thousand less than new, and just in time for Christmas!

We are always happy to consider reasonable offers on our auctions.

Purchases:  We strive to be accurate and detailed in our descriptions.  If you have any questions or concerns about a listing, please ask questions prior to bidding.  Photographs are considered a binding part of an item description.

Shipping:  Items are shipped after receipt and clearance of your payment.  We try to ship far ahead of the handling time listed in the auction.  Note that with international shipping, not all countries provide door-to-door tracking; therefore, buyer assumes full liability for item after leaving the United States.

Returns:  We have zero unhappy customers, and we have offered hassle-free returns for almost twenty years.  Unfortunately, due to rampant abuse of eBay's automated returns, and since PayPal no longer refunds sales fees, we have had to revise our return policy.  (1) If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us PRIOR to initiating a return via eBay and allow us to address your concerns.  Many items such as clarinets and oboes come out of adjustment during the shipping process, and can be easily tweaked by your local technician.  We are happy to talk you through this process.  (2) Items may be returned for any reason at your expense within seven days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping and eBay fees, which are not refundable. If on receipt we are able to verify the item to be significantly different than described, we will additionally refund original shipping, PayPal fees, and your return shipping to maximum of $30.00.

Non-paying Bidders:  We reserve the right to relist or otherwise dispose of any item if payment is not received with three days of the auction close.
