Coral require nitrates and phosphates to thrive within limits, with most reef tanks aiming for around 0.05 - 0.15ppm of phosphate in the water. Phosphate is absorbed by rocks, sand and organisms within the tank and may take some time to reach detectable levels, especially in a system that has been deficient for a long time.

Instructions for use:

1. Start slow and take time to reach your desired levels.
2. Wait 24 hours between doses.
3. Test 24 hours after dosing to obtain an accurate reading of available phosphates within the system.
4. Add 1 ml per 25 gallons of water to increase phosphate levels by 0.25ppm.
5. Once desired levels are reached, adjust dosing levels to maintain.

Tips: For optimal results, use Phosphate Boost+ 5x in combination with Bacteria Boost+ and Nitrate Boost+. Often, organisms in deficient tanks are lacking one of the three main nutrients necessary for thriving, namely carbon, nitrogen or phosphorus.
