*The top of the crop rare coveted and arguably the best am/fm reciever Sony ever created and an audiophiles dream*
***PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE***
***IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS,
PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME FIRST***
***Keep in mind on larger
items, I usually have a 3 day handling time. As wrapping and boxing these
larger heavier items for shipping is a task in itself***
Fully thoroughly and professionally gone through
inspected and tested by myself. I test all functions of the electronics I sell
and replace/ repair anything that it may need with new OEM parts.
-Unless pictured and stated otherwise the unit does NOT come
with a remote. Universal compatible remotes can be purchased here on ebay (not
sold by me) for under 5.00 shipped.
-Ridiculously low-ball offers will
be ignored reasonable offers will be responded to
- I often offer free shipping for you. Keep in mind it’s not
free for me. With these larger heavier electronic units usually more than half
the cost on the buy it now price goes to shipping. Not to mention packaging
products bubble wrap corner posts foam boxes etc are not free for me. Aside
from the fact shippers have raised their prices almost 40% in the past year.
I am not responsible if the item sold does not have the
features you want or is combatable with your existing system. PLEASE do your
due diligence in researching the product, if you have questions please ask
before purchasing, I’m happy to answer any and all. If the electronic
has a pay for service I’m also not responsible for that. Its sad that I have to
say that but, I dumbfoundedly had customers try to return a computer because I
won’t pay for their monthly internet bill or a Blu Ray player because I won’t
pay for their monthly Netflix bill . Would you expect a car dealer to pay for
your gas for life? Sheeesh
I am competitive with my prices, trust me I don’t think
I’m going to be able to buy a tropical island by selling
refurbished electronics on E-Bay. However, going through each unit
and testing cleaning and repairing does take time. Not to mention the
cost of replacement parts (if needed). Even tracking
down new replacement parts for some of these vintage units is
time consuming in itself. Please keep this in mind if you make an offer. My
prices may be a bit higher then the next guy who might have just pulled the
item off the curb, but rest assured you get a solid item that has
been professionally tested and serviced. If the unit from
the next guy hasn't been serviced yet, it eventually will need to be.
Why take the risk ?
*As a side note I see new sealed in the box vintage units going
for crazy money, UNLESS you actually collect new in the box electronics never
to be used. I would HIGHLY suggest going with a unit from a reputable
refurbisher. As an electronics technician who repairs electronics every day. I
know and see the damages time/age dry rot and non-usage can do even when stored
under the best conditions. You wouldn’t expect to find a 1980 ford mustang that
has been sitting untouched never driven in someone’s garage since the day of
purchase, put keys in it fire it up and make it your daily driver with no
issues right, Same Idea. Let’s put it this way I get more service requests from
customers who paid big money for a new in the box sealed unit that’s dead-on
arrival due to dry rot and 30 year old grease caking up harder than concrete
then units that have been in service for years. Save yourself the money.

I will place a sticker on the inside of the unit
with a unique serial number that will identify the unit to me, as well a void
if broken tamper sticker on the back of the unit’s case. These will not affect
normal functions. However, they sadly are a measure against scammers and con
artists. Who would claim they bought something and it didn't work or
they didn't like the item and will open a return and send me back their
old broken unit that my refurbished one just replaced or strip the
unit of its parts and send me back an empty shell. If the seal is
tampered with or broken, you immediately forfeit your request to
return. If you intend to lie cheat steal or try to scam me and or the system,
please don't try. I won’t allow frivolous and bogus claims and will fight them
tooth and nail. I have been on ebay buying and selling since 99, this isn't my
first time at the rodeo. I reserve the right to pursue legal action through
ebay PayPal the shipping company and or your local police department.
Returns: When the item is shipped
from me rest assured everything works as it should. I accept returns for
30 days, In the unlikely event the item arrives damaged in
transit/not working properly, it doesn’t happen often but does happen. I
do NOT accept returns for buyers remorse or frivolous reasons IE your
VCR deck doesn’t have Bluetooth or a HDMI port etc . All returns will
be inspected and tested. If the item is received and does indeed work as
it should I will document this by uploading a short video showing the item and
its serial number and showing it functions as advertised to eBay. The
item per eBay guidelines MUST be returned in the same condition with
all the parts and accessories included as you received it. I reserve the right
per E-Bay to hold 50% back on unwarranted returns.
I’m very fair and easy going and don’t
want to give anyone a hassle, as I don’t want to be hassled. However,
trust me there are unscrupulous people out there who run scams such as these
on eBay on a DAILY basis. It doesn't happen very often but ask any
seller it happens. I take every precaution and measure to prevent and combat
this, so I can continue to bring you quality goods
at reasonable prices. I’m a average guy who loves vintage electronics
and wants to keep the hobby alive. So by trying to con or game me or the system
you are literally taking food out of my family's mouth, I'm not a
billion dollar chain store.
