15 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" in diameter

This container with a carrying strap and hinged lid would have been used to deliver ice cream back in the '40s. Insulated to keep ice cream frozen longer.

Royal blue with stand-out white lettering on the sides which say "Serve More Ice Cream". On the bottom of the lid is written "HOME DELIVERY" "Container made by Canvas Products Corporation, FON DU LAC, WIS"

In quite good shape considering it is made of canvas, cork, wood and steel and around 80 + years old. Some of the white lettering and blue background show signs of fading. The stitching is coming undone on one side and metal parts are rusted. The outside canvas has a few holes but the inside is in fantastic shape having not been exposed all those years.
