A Rare First Edition of the Most Iconic Piece of Furniture by the Famous Dutch Designer and Architect Gerrit Thomas Rietveld of his 'Red and Blue chair'.

This was an Iconic Design Classic from the De Stijl Movement (1917-1931).

This Model differs from the later edited copies that were available.

Includes:

- English instruction booklet, also a brief history about this chair and it’s designer, 14 pages.

- 4 small cans of the primary colours.

- wooden parts with metal construction pins.

- all housed in a beautiful cardboard box

The Kit contains Wood for the chair with pre-inserted metal Pegs for the joints, Enamel Paint in four Authentic Colours, and an Instruction Book that gives a brief history of Rietveld and his Chair. 

The Wood is a Good Quality Straight Grained Hardwood. It is not balsa or pine.

The Model is in a 1:6 scale.

Approximate Dimensions:

The box is 9" by 6 1/2". 

The Chair is about 6" tall and 4" wide.

Condition: The Kit is in Excellent Condition. All the Pieces are present and accounted for still unused in the Original Bag. The Box is in Good shape with some edgewear. The Graphics are good.
