If you’re looking for a large timepiece with a bracelet but don’t want the weight then this piece might interest you. This Sea Spider has a largish 52mm dia case, 18mm thick. What sets it apart from other watches is the use of a very intricately formed polyurethane bracelet. This bracelet is able to give 90 degree link to link rotation, is incredibly strong and very lightweight. Links are held together with rose gold plated stainless shafts with screw ends. A quality over centre double locking deployment clasp with micro adjustment completes the picture.

The degree of three dimensional machining on the casework is quite extreme. The four bracelet mounting lugs have been skeletonised and thus can be seen through. The rest of the case has an abundance of machining features which I will endeavour to photograph. The fixed bezel is finished in gold with an inlaid lower bezel ring finished in black.

The dial is A Grade Mother of Pearl finished in platinum. Massive indices are three dimensionally raised off the dial and finished in white lume and outlined in black and gold. Large hour and minute hands have been skeletonised, tipped in white lume and outlined in black. The Seiko Industries VD78 quartz movement supports a seconds sub dial which is in the 6 o’clock position, outlined in black.

The Flame Fusion Crystal on this model is slightly domed which magnifies the already large dial and indices. This is a timepiece which can easily be read at a glance from a multitude of angles.

The water resistance rating on this model is 100 metres which, given the light weight aspect and ease of time telling will make these pieces perfect everyday wearers.

Timepiece is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes in an Invicta One Slot Dive Case with paperwork and will be sent for free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
