Description

About this guitar:
This guitar came directly from Jackson to my supplier, it has never been sold retail.  It was tested and inspected by a team of factory authorized techs.  All electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight and the set up is to factory specs.  This guitar is an over stock item from Jackson.  The protective covers are still on the truss rod cover and back plates.

Here is what Jackson says about the SLX DX:

Aggressive tone paired with epic style for the serious soloist.

The X Series Soloist SLX DX Camo from Jackson is a distinctive and affordable electric guitar designed for both speed and comfort. The Soloist SLX DX model features an ergonomically curved poplar body and through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement for rock-solid stability, plus a tilt-back scarf joint headstock for reduced playing fatigue. Active Jackson covered high-output humbucking pickups power this metal beast with an expansive voice loaded with crunchy, full-bodied tone ideal for brazen lead work or assertive rhythms runs. Tone is fully customizable with a 3-way pickup blade switching and single volume and tone controls, while a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge system provides superior string stability and dynamic tremolo action. Battle-ready, the Soloist SLX DX Camo is dressed for combat with matching camo pointy headstock and black hardware.

This guitar weighs 7.9 pounds.

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
