4 Changes to this projector to note before purchasing.
Especially, since I have a no return policy as described in detail below.
1. Comes with the significantly better stainless steel slide carriers. The normal aluminum slide carriers can leave very minor amounts of aluminum dust on your slides when used frequently.
2. There is a very minor color difference between the top half and the bottom half of the projector.
Please examine photos closely due to my non-return policy.
3. The original AC cord was cracked and unusable. I modified a newer AC cord to fit the AC receptacle in this projector.
The newer cord should last a lifetime.
4. This projector normally comes with a fan motor wire cage that extends 3/8 of an inch below the bottom of the projector plate. The original wire cage was missing. The purpose of the original cage is to prevent the very powerful cooling motor from sucking up any loose papers,
or material onto the fan wheel.
I replaced the fan motor wire cage with a flat one. I also added three additional feet in an attempt to prevent any loose paper or other material from being sucked up into the fan motor cage.
Please review photos closely.
Caution!
When using this projector, never put it on top of loose papers or loose material to prevent any reduction in the suction of air that cools
the two projector lamps.
This sale includes the following items;
1. The TDC Vivid #116 Stereo and 35mm Projector in Excellent Condition.
2. 1 Stainless Steel Stereo Slide Carrier. Superior to the normal aluminum slide carriers.
3. 1 Stainless Steel 35mm Slide Carrier. Superior to the normal aluminum slide carriers.
(These stainless steel slide carriers were used in the more expensive 716 Deluxe projector.)
4. TDC Vivid Factory Matched Stereo Lenses in Excellent Condition. There are some cleaning marks on the front of the lens due to someone using non soft cloth cleaning products.
These cleaning marks are very typical, and probably exist on every stereo slide projector for sale on eBay.
5. The (2) existing Projection Bulbs already in the Projector.
(No warranty on the existing lamps. Sometimes rough shipping can break the used brittle filaments in the Lamps that are already in the Projector.)
6. Two (2) BRAND NEW Long Life Halogen Replacement Projection Bulbs.
In case the original ones prematurely burn out or are damaged in shipping.
The manufacturer states that the Halogen replacements will last 500 Hours.
7. Two (2) BRAND NEW Hi Quality Polarizing Filters.
8. A Color Photocopy of the Original Instruction and Maintenance Manual.
9. A Color Photocopy of the Original 2nd Version Instruction and Maintenance Manual.
10. A Color Photocopy of TDC Model 116 Product advertisements.
11. The Modified Correct Electric AC Power Cord. No sign of aging like most other AC Cords.
12. Two NEW (2) Stereo Viewing Glasses.

**SHIPPING COSTS - PLEASE READ**
These items altogether are heavy. They will be packed properly for a safe arrival. The total weight could be 30 or more pounds. They will be shipped with insurance which is costly for an item of this value and require a signature before delivery is made (an additional $8.00 to $10.00). Plus EBay takes their 13% or more fee, not only on the purchase price but also on the Shipping Amount and Taxes paid by the Buyer. That is the explanation for the higher than normal shipping costs.
Since it is extremely hard to estimate actual shipping costs without knowing the actual shipping location, I will refund any shipping fees paid by the Buyer if they exceed 10% of my actual costs.
**NO RETURN POLICY - MUST READ**
I have been as thorough as possible in describing every detail of this projector. It has been thoroughly tested and inspected. Because of the high cost to ship this item, the heavy weight of this item which could increase the possibility of damage with multiple shipments, I have decided to change my normal policy of 30 day returns to a NO RETURN POLICY for this particular item.

I can NOT afford the additional risk of damage nor the high shipping costs for someone who decides later that they no longer want this item or just wanted to try it out.
Also when I listed this item, most Sellers of vintage projectors, do not accept returns.
