Use and configuration
LD2450 module directly through the serial port in accordance with the prescribed protocol for the output of detection results data, the serial output data contains up to three targets position and speed and other information, the user can be used flexibly according to specific application scenarios. The module power supply voltage is 5V, and the input power supply capacity is more than 200mA. The module IO output level is 3.3V. The default baud rate of the serial port is 256000, 1 stop bit, no parity bit.
Communication protocol
The communication protocol is mainly used by users who need to do secondary development without the upper demo tool.The LD2450 module communicates with the outside world through the serial port, and the default baud rate of the radar serial port is 256000, 1 stop bit, no parity bit. The radar outputs information about the detected target, including x-coordinates in the area, y-coordinates, and the speed value of the target. 10 frames per second are reported.
Installation environment requirements
This product needs to be installed in a suitable environment, the detection effect will be affected if used in the following environment
1. There are non-human objects in the induction area that are in continuous motion, such as animals, continuously swinging curtains, large green plants facing the air outlet, etc.
2. The presence of large area of strong reflective objects in the sensing area, strong reflective objects are facing the radar antenna will cause interference
3. When wall mounting, you need to consider the external interference factors such as air conditioner and electric fan on the top of the room.
Installation precautions
1. Try to ensure that the radar antenna is facing the area to be detected, and the antenna is open and unobstructed around
2. To ensure the installation position of the sensor is firm and stable, the shaking of the radar itself will affect the detection effect
3. To ensure that the back of the radar will not have object movement or vibration. Due to the penetrating nature of radar waves, the back flap of the antenna signal may detect the moving objects on the back of the radar. Metal shield or metal back plate can be used to shield the radar back flap to reduce the impact caused by objects on the back of the radar
4. When there are multiple 24 GHz band radars, please do not install them in the direction of the opposite beam, and install them as far away as possible to avoid possible mutual interference.
