Vintage heart-shaped pottery mold with handle from the French region of Alsace, on the border with Germany.  Dark brown-black glaze with hand-painted floral slip glaze decoration and a lively golden yellow interior.  No marks.

Condition:  a few rim chips and general wear, which add to its rustic charm.

Dimensions:  8 1/2"L x 5 1/2"W x 3 1/3"H.
