Here are the measurements:

Top to Tail (back of neck to bottom, inc collar) - 28.5 inches

Shoulder to shoulder across back - 23 inches

Shoulder to cuff - 25 inches

Armpit to cuff - 18 inches

Chest (measured flat on outside) - 23 inches

Suggested size - 40 inches

Please read the measurements carefully to check if it will fit you but we think it will fit a chest of around 38-40 inches, depending on the position in which the zip is fastened. The maker's label shows the size as 40 inches.

There is quite substantial built in padding at the shoulders & elbows/forearms and a lesser amount at the back of the waist.

Adjustable fit (main zip fastens in either of 2 different positions).

4 zipped pockets at the front - 2 horizontal pockets at the waist with 2 vertical pockets just above them - and a leather trimmed zipped pocket inside the jacket.

There is a strap with velcro at the neck and an adjustable velcro belt with buckle at the front of the waist.

Short attachment zip at the back of the waist (to attach the jacket to trousers).

All of the zips are good quality YKK zips and all work well.

The jacket has a quilted black lining - looks and feels like its made from cotton.

Very good overall condition.
