A scarce copy of the original 1937 edition. Lucullus Virgil McWhorter (1860-1944) was a rancher and advocate for Native Americans who studied and wrote about tribes in West Virginia and Washington state. In 1903 he moved to from Ohio to Yakima and in 1914 was adopted as an honorary member of the Yakama.
