This serial cable (length 1 m.) was designed to be able to transfer data and programs from a PC/Mac to a Sinclair QL equipped with a 6-pin serial socket.

We all know that it is very difficult to transfer files and programs from a PC/Mac to our SINCLAIR QL, but with this cable you can finally transfer files and programs that you find on the internet to your SINCLAIR QL directly from PC/Mac to your beloved QL!

What you need to already own:

A SINCLAIR QL working with 6-pin serial jack (in some models the number of pins may change);
A Windows PC or MAC;
A working micro cassette for your SINCLAIR QL (used to store transferred files and programs);
A Serial / USB adapter if your PC or Mac does not have the Serial DB9 socket (see an example in the last photo).

It is recommended to have a memory expansion for your SINCLAIR QL; this will give you the ability to transfer larger textual and binary files without having to run into an "out of memory" SINCLAIR QL.

I am at your disposal to advise you on the correct configuration of your PC/Mac/SINCLAIR QL for the transfer of files and programs.

Cosa è necessario già possedere:

Un SINCLAIR QL funzionante con jack seriale a 6 pin (in alcuni modelli il numero di pin potrebbe cambiare);
Un PC Windows o MAC;
