This is a very old wrought iron gate lock. The circular body has six reinforcing bands. Comes with it's long key. The key needs to be inserted correctly to work the primative mechanism. The lock by itself measures 11 3/4" long. Probable European or Middle Eastern in origin. A unique ancient hand made gate lock.
