This vintage Care Bear doesn't portray a specific character from the 1980s franchise, but is instead specially designed to be stimulating to young children. The left hand, with a smiling blue flower design, contains a rattle. The right hand, which features a pink crescent moon and yellow star, contains a squeaker. A heart-shaped mirror features instead of the typical embroidered tummy symbol. The nose can be twisted, which produces a click-y sound and makes the eyes rotate slightly in the opposite direction. The inner ears and the pads of the feet each feature a different fabric, e.g. fuzzy, velvety, satin, etc., while the body of the bear is made of a fine, light pink terry cloth. There is a patch of hook-and-loop closure (think Velcro) on the back of the head with the original strap included; this was intended to wrap around the slats of a crib in order to keep the bear upright. I am the sole owner of this bear. From a pet-free, smoke-free home.
