"Portrait of a young French gentleman" - a work by the well-known artist Jean Marie Auguste Jugelet.

Jean Marie Auguste Jugelet (1805 Dresden - 1875 Versailles) was a pupil of Th. Gudin in Paris. He exhibited at the Salon between 1831 and 1836 and was chiefly a painter of seascapes, but painted also, according to Leo R. Schidlof, portrait miniatures.

Condition: In good condition, framed.
