Velvet Shirt:

Velvet Shirt (Navan'katsina) wears a ribbon shirt which gives him the name Navan (shirt) Kachina. He represents the blooming of plant life and focuses on the beauty of life, as indicated by the flowers worn on his face. This Kachina is very colorful; his songs are prayers for rain to sustain all life forms.
