I believe this is a rather rare three piece matched Worcester Neoclassical caudle cup with lid and saucer, dating to the 'first period', or Dr. Wall era, of Worcester's history.  This could also be a lidded hot chocolate cup, but I think because of the period produced it was probably used for caudel.  The set was purchased through Christie's some time in the 80's.  The set together stands approximately 5.25" high, the diameter of the saucer is about 5 5/8".
