Please
verify that the size of your current refill is the same as above. There
are some non Cross pens that use a similar refill, but those refills
are different size and this refill will not fit.
There
may be a wax covering on the tip to prevent drying out of the ink. The
wax may be removed by grabbing it with some scrap paper or napkin. If
there's still wax stuck on the nib, alcohol or vinegar soaked cotton
ball or napkin may be used to remove it.
