NEW SEALED CD

Krzysztof Komeda at the best time of his jazz hike. Following the well-received "Live In Praha 1964", GAD Records is proposing a concert from Bled, Yugoslavia, one year younger. Different line-up, different energy and repertoire known from the album 'Astigmatic'.

Krzysztof Komeda set a new direction in jazz in the mid-1960s, drawing handfuls of both John Coltrane's black expression and European romanticism. He discovered new ones culminating in the iconic album 'Astigmatic' today. And a few months earlier, he had performed two songs known from this album at the Bled (Yugoslavia) jazz festival. Completely different readings of the same compositions make the material from Bled one of the most interesting discoveries in the artist's concert discography to date. This is the complete opposite of the hot performance from Prague, Czech Republic – music balanced, subdued and subtle.

'Live In Bled 1965' presents a complete record of the performance from the Bled Festival, remastered from the original tapes from the Slovenija RTV archive by Andrzej Poniatowski. In the photo booklet and text of Adam Baruch.
