For sale is a RAPCO rock polishing kit called “Tumble Stones”. Transform rough gravel or rocks into polished gems and then make fun & stylish rings, cuff links, and other jewelry. This item was manufactured in the early 1970’s and was one of the first plastic rock tumblers on the market. In 1972 it sold for $17.95 with the marketing slogan “Transform rough rock into precious gems”. This was acquired at an antique auction in northern Maryland and after inspection appears to be in unused condition as components are still in original packing w accessories still sealed in package. The tumbler machine was tested and is in good working condition. I did have to tap one of the ‘spin rods’ during the initial test for it to spin. With subsequent tests the tumbler rod spinners worked properly. Box has some fading and scuffs but otherwise in excellent used condition. (Please examine all photos prior to purchase).
