Here's a wonderful antique cornhusk bag from the plateau region. Probably a Nez Perce piece. It is double sided and I think some of the weaving is thread work, but it's very fine and a little bit hard to tell.
it is small, like a medicine bag, and has designs on both sides, as well as a small handle loop that would let it hang on a belt
It displays a lot of age patina, I think it could easily be over 100 years old.
It is like a miniature flat bag, really rare and wonderful.
