Big, black CB1000 Super Four. This powerful beast still looks the part 30 years after rolling casually off the production line like a bull in a Bugs Bunny cartoon.
This really is a beast of a bike. Weighing in at around 235kg dry and with a 22 litre tank you need a fair amount of strength to wiggle it out of the garage if someone's left the old rowing machine in the way. Once on the road, however, all this mass is quickly converted into momentum. The Super Four's four cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine delivers 92hp, a quarter mile speed of less than 12 seconds and a top speed of roughly twice what you're allowed to do.
When this bike was released in 1992 it was designed to look retro - a throwback to the un-fared superbikes of the seventies. Its elegant, simple styling has stood the test of time and here we have a particularly fine example.
Now 30 years old, these bikes are becoming increasing collectable and we think this is a particularly fine example.
The bike has been fully UK registered. It will come with a fresh MOT. We can deliver, please confirm your postcode for a quote.
A deposit of £1000 will secure the bike, we would not ask for further payment until the bike is ready for collection or delivery. Once the deposit is received we will do a PDI check, re-MOT if the MOT has less than 6 months to run and valet the bike. If the customer cancels the sale we will refund 50% of the deposit. Road tax & insurance are your responsibility as the new keeper.
