New, open box. This tree has never been used but when I plugged in it wasn't working so I bought new bulb. Turned out it wasn't the bulb it was the power adapter not working so I have replaced it with a new KTEC power adapter. I will also include the extra bulb I purchased. Also, because it has not been used the branches have not been fanned out yet.
