Pictured is a novel art glass "whimsy" combining both metalwork & glass blowing.  The small container was 

blown into the riveted metal "caging" producing a bubble effect on the sides.  There are six (6) individual bubbles 

within the framework.  The glass is a vibrant peacock or electric blue coloration.  A pontil scar is seen on the 

underside.  It measures 3 7/8" in height, 4 3/8" in diameter, & dates from the mid century, or slightly earlier.  

It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or repairs.
