I used this lens for few projects and worked fine for me, I tried to sell on eBay and the buyer returned claiming it was broken. When I inspected it upon return, it appears that the focus ring doesn't work anymore! (i.e. lens can't focus) as if ring is detached from mechanism. The inside element group ca be pushed back and forth however
