Original WW2 aluminium canteen / waterbottle, Model 1929 used by Finnish Army Suomen Armeija in years 1939 - 1944. It is Swedish waterbottle, but during the war big number of such waterbottles was send from Sweden to Finnish troops. Finland was attacked by the Soviet Army in November 1939, and fought bravely with much bigger enemy. Finnish troops were very succesful and the Red Army suffered first incredibly high losses in campaign of 1939-1940 - that phase was called the Winter War. Finnish Army entered the war again June 22, 1941, when as a Wehrmacht's ally attacked the USSR (that phase was the Continuation War). During the war Finnland imported for its army lot of different kind of war materials from Sweden.
