This elegant centerpiece is an excellent example of the fine craftsmanship of the Von Schierholz factory in Plaue, Germany. This piece, produced between 1912 and 1972, is decorated in the rococo revival style--characterized by its generous display of pastel colors, flowers, and extraordinary hand painted features. The bowl is exquisitely sculpted, with gold gilding flowing into the scrollwork along the edges. This beautiful centerpiece is made in two parts: the top bowl with hand painted flowers inside and attached flowers outside and the lower part with 4 children (6 in tall) dancing around the center. The measurements are about 11" wide and 15" tall.

The centerpiece is in very good condition.
