      I purchased this beautiful (late 1800s) Gutta Percha Antique Victorian Cameo Of Ceres, Goddess of the Harvest loose. . I set in in a Victorian Bugle Beaded Flower Buckle Setting (new 100 years old) and added mother of pearl flat shells background. A pendant bail & brooch clasp is added so it can be worn as a large pendant or brooch.
The beaded setting was new old stock in a millinery store. The small hexagon individually handcrafted, 100 or more year old, black jet glass beads are irregular shape making up the shape of the oval. Please be sure to see the hand carving on the two large ball shaped black jet glass center of flowers on top, bottom & sides.
