Scott Willis has had a distinguished career as a political cartoonist, comic strip artist and freelance illustrator. His cartoons have appeared in The New York Times, Newsweek and The Wall Street Journal and on MSNBC and PBS. His murals have been featured in the San Jose Mercury News and Image Magazine and can be found in homes, schools, businesses and medical facilities throughout the Bay Area. He lives in San Jose with his wife, Patricia, and their dog Woody. Their son Andrew is a 2010 graduate of UC Berkeley who lives in Oakland, does environmental consulting work and runs marathons. Their son Dan is a 2012 Berkeley graduate who is an analyst for the state Public Utilities Commission in San Francisco.  Scott spent three years penning political cartoons for the Dallas Times Herald and 15 for the San Jose Mercury News.
