Offered is "THE STREETS OF OLD NEW YORK, An Historical Picture Book" by Gardner Osborn.  

This book of "Old New York" scenes and history was prepared to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the inauguration of George Washington as the first president of the United States on April 30, 1789, on the balcony of the Federal Hall which stood on the site of the then-present Sub-Treasury Building at the corner of Nassau and Wall Streets.  

This 1st Edition version is the rarer privately printed version dated 1939.   Measures approx. 12" x 9" with stiff paper covers, metal spiral binding, 49 pages.

Used, with surface wear and some toning; all pages intact and display well given its ~85 years age.
