Up for auction, we are offering a vintage advertising round thermometer metal sign, GUINNESS STOUT. Made in U.S.A. – COOPER Co. – Pequabuck, Conn. I would date the thermometer from the 1950s or 1960s based on info I found on the Internet regarding the Cooper Co. It measures about 8&3/4 inches in diameter.
The thermometer is in very good used condition with a few blemishes, some light scratches in the paint, and light soiling/yellowing on the front. In addition, there is some wear and chips on the edges with some paint loss. Cardboard backing is in great shape and the thermometer works. Some dirt has worked itself into the thermometer portion.
