Pictured is a quite uncommon sponged decorated bread & butter plate available for sale.  The plate, produced
by Roseville Pottery in southeastern Ohio, is sponged in blue & a light tan in an alternating pattern.  The small
plate has a scalloped edge, an embossed scroll & leaf/frond design, & modest gold gilding at its edge.  It measures
6 3/4" in diameter, 5/8" in height, & dates from 1915 - 1925.  It's in excellent condition with no nicks, damage or
repairs.  A novel addition to your early Roseville collection....
