The glass pen by the inventor of the glass pen, SASAKI SHOTEN, established by the wind-bell maker Sasaki Sadajiro in the Meiji (1868-1912) era.
Being a manufacturer that is no longer in existence, the unbroken item fetches a very high price.

This glass pen is very smooth, despite the Fine. It is known as a glass pen of the highest manufacturing standards, even by today's standards.
Clear glass nib in the color of Porcelain White is beautifully crafted, show the high level of manufacturing skill of the past.
The barrel is made of hollow bamboo and weighs only 5.0 grams, which is lighter than it looks.
The glass part of the nib is large, about 30mm, and this makes the writing quality better and the ink last longer. (The glass part dimensions vary.)

  Due to the use of natural materials, some of the body may have scratches, age-related stains, label peeling and other changes, but it is not a problem for practical use. Tested in writing.
