Original 1968 USA ONE SHEET (41 inches by 27 inches) poster used in movie theaters for marketing in America. AUTOGRAPHED by Film's Director : TED V. MIKELS, obtained in person at a Chiller Theatre Horror Convention in New Jersey, in 1991. This rare vintage movie paper is in GOOD+ to VERY GOOD condition. Natural age-appropriate appearance. There was water staining across the top three inches of the poster, mostly in white border. The staining never affected the autograph. This poster was an excellent candidate for restoration, because nearly all of the stains  were removed through chemical means, and after being nicely backed with with some minor restoration, the poster looks fantastic! See photos. Exciting, colorful and classic sci-fi horror imagery.  FAST & SAFE DELIVERY.

1968. Directed by TED V MIKELS, co-written by WAYNE ROGERS. TAGLINE : “Dismembered Bodies, Transplanted Organs, Are Used To Create The ASTRO-ZOMBIES!!!” -The Plan - to build a super human. How? By murdering innocent, convenient victims, and using various bits of them. The result? Creatures on the rampage. After being fired from the Space Agency, the disgruntled (not to mention crazy) Dr. DeMarco creates an Astroman from a criminal's dead body. However, he loses control of his creation, which goes on a killing spree, attracting the attention of an international spy ring and the CIA. CAST includes Wendell Corey, John Carradine, Tom Pace, Joan Patrick, Rafael Campos, Tura Satana, William Bagdad, Joseph Hoover, Vincent Barbi, Victor Izay, Ted V Mikels. BEHIND THE SCENES TRIVIA : Co-writer and co-producer Wayne Rogers would go on to become a star in the TV series M*A*S*H (1972). The house used in the film belonged to Peter Falk, a friend of the film's writer and producer, Wayne Rogers. Falk was slated to have a cameo in the film, but director Ted V. Mikels cut Falk's scene, saying that he was too comedic for what Mikels saw as a serious role in a sci-fi/horror film. James Caan was reportedly up for a role in this film. Many critics regard this as the worst film ever made. Shot on a budget of $37,000 of which $3,000 of that went to pay John Carradine's salary. Shot on film short ends, over a period of 6 days.
