Invicta Coalition Forces NHL 42279

This is a big bold, in your face Limited Edition American NHL timepiece. Based on a Coalition Forces model and featuring the Seiko 24 jewel NH35 Automatic engine. If you need to tell the time from across the street then this is the watch for you.

The dial is not any green, it is lime green, as are the engraved 15 minute dive indices on the bezel and the silicon strap. White Arabic numerals on the dial are huge, finished in white lume and outlined in silver. The large hour and minute hands are again in white lume, outlined in silver. The main sweep seconds hand is silver and finished in the shape of a hockey stick.

All casework has been finished in polished silver stainless steel. The large bezel is fixed and the screw down back affords a water resistance rating of 100 metres. The large machine knurled crown in the 3 o’clock position is protected by a crown protrusion formed in the case.

The silicon strap is a work of art, attaching to the case at 30mm wide and 6mm thick. It then tapers to the buckle at 25mm wide and 4mm thick. Four silver screw accents have been fastened into the upper two formed link designations with the remaining strap being three dimensionally moulded in what looks like a tyre tread. A large polished silver buckle with engraved Invicta logo and twin silicon strap keepers complete the picture.

This is a lot of timepiece for the money particularly considering it is fitted with a Seiko Automatic movement. If you like big and bold this may be on your short list. I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
