Up for sale
is a Mitchell 301 Half Bail Vintage Spinning Reel in GOOD COSMETIC CONDITION
and GOOD MECHANICAL condition.
The reel
casts and retrieves line properly, the anti-reverse lever works properly, the
drag work well, the reel spins freely, the bail snaps shut, and the handle
operates properly. I have disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and reassembled the
reel. The reel is in GOOD condition.
The reel is well-built;
all parts are functioning as they should including the half bail. There is some
surface wear, on the exterior Black finish, near the back end of the reel, by
the lube port, there is a round chip on the bottom of face plate, on the spool,
bail, wear on the leg/foot, and on the rotating head. Also, the unpainted metal
parts do show some discoloring with age.
