Corum Montservain Men's 3P Diamond Ref.57019 21 stones Cal.7001 Manual 1970s

Item Description

Corum round case dress watch.

Corum was established in 1955 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, a sacred place for watchmaking, and is a luxury watch brand that continues to create innovative and unique masterpieces that cannot be found in other brands.

Corum's brand icon, the key emblem, symbolizes "innovation" that opens new doors, and is placed on the dial and buckle.

This model has a stainless steel case and is a thin dress watch with a thickness of only 5.8mm.
Although the case is thin, the crown is 4mm in diameter, making it easy to wind by hand.

The CB mark is engraved on the inside of the case.
This mark is made by CB (Centrale Boîtes of Bien), and at the time Omega, a high-end case manufacturer, used CB cases in some models.

The crown uses a joint type winding core.
Align the protrusion on the movement side with the concave on the crown side, set the case and camera back vertically, and connect the winding core.
*The fourth image shows the crown without connecting the winding core. (This is not a defective crown)

The movement is hand-wound and is based on Pesseux's masterpiece caliber 7001.

Caliber 7001 was originally a 17 jewel movement.
The number of stones has been increased to 21 stones, a spring placed on the receiving stone has been used to improve oil retention, and three posture adjustments have been made.
You can see your own improvements and tuning.

The dial has a delicate hairline pattern and a glossy finish, and beautiful shadows appear depending on the angle of light.

The bezel has detailed decorations, the dial has 3 diamonds, and the crown has a blue stone.

Recommended for those looking for a chic dress watch.

Method of operation
The crown can be pulled out to one step.
It cannot be pulled in two steps, so please be careful not to force it.

Crown operation: When pulling out the crown, it is easier to operate by pushing your nail between the case and the crown from the back. (move like a lever)

If you pull the crown too hard, it may come out. please note.

Manual winding: Crown in normal position, rotate upward
Setting the time: Pull the crown and rotate the crown downward.

The dial moves slightly when the crown is operated, but this is normal due to the structure of the case and back cover.
