c. 1920’s Endicott Johnson LOLLYPOPS Baby Shoes in Original Box - sweet!

This sweet little pair of LOLLYPOPS baby shoes in original Endicott-Johnson box dates to the circa 1920s time period (based on the typical 1920s graphics of children playing on the box - don't you love them!).  The box measures about 6 by 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches and is in overall structurally sound, excellent condition with a couple of small flaws - first is a small indented 'dig' on the box top just at the left edge of the little gal's green ruffled dress; and the second is a couple of small rectangular shaped faded areas in the upper right corner area of the box top.  The white or beige areas of the box have light age-fading.  In spite of these minor condition flaws, I doubt you would ever find a nicer box from this era!  The shoes themselves are obviously used with light overall general wear, but no significant defects.

Imprinted text on box end reads 'Endicott-Johnson LOLLYPOPS for Baby's Feet'; and in rubber stamped lettering '4906  WH BLUE BLU. 2' with penciled number 945 added at some point (it looks like this is possibly the price, but it seems too high for the '20s era).

Since the baby shoes that were in the box when I obtained it are all white, I'm not sure if they are the original shoes - what with the reference to 'blue' on the box end.  But they certainly appear to be from the same era as the box.... 

I hope this pretty box and the cute shoes end up in the hands of a collector who will use it as a display piece in a vintage children's clothing or shoe display!!  Of course, that's up to you....
