MISC S6TP04S Machine screws
Miscellaneous Railroad Company # S6TP04S
Replacement for AHM , Rivarossi , IHC & Con-Cor TRUCK PINS
This is a
#6-32 Truss-head machine screw made of 18-8 Stainless Steel to minimize
corrosion and magnetism.
The S6TP04S on Rivarossi Passenger cars the screw will not protrude up to the floor level (last picture)
Note: the # S6TP05S is 1/16th inch longer.
I can no longer use USPS First Class with no tracking.
This is a very small package and they are getting lost in the mail.
USPS Ground Advantage is approximately $4.

How to Use
the MISC S6TP04S to replace a Rivarossi
TRUCK PIN:
The hole in
the bolster boss is not the correct size to tap #6-32 but the chassis is
plastic and offers very little resistance to a sharp tap.
Tap the hole
approximately 40 to 50% so that the screw will go in straight and will stay tight.
Then install
the S6TP04S screw to hold the truck
on.
Adjust the
tightness to allow for free movement of the truck and a little bit of floppiness.
I attempt to
provide the most accurate description possible.
My intention
is to prevent any surprises.
