The Ultimate Graphic Novels Collection – Marvels Comics was initially conceived as a 60-book set, but due to the incredible popularity of the collection it was soon expanded to include more titles. In 2011, Hachette Partworks began publishing The Ultimate Graphic Novels Collection (aka The Official Marvel Graphic Novel Collection). Published on a bi-weekly basis, and printed in a hardback format, the collection republished classic Marvel stories from the past, covering milestone moments and fan-favorite tales including Dark Phoenix, Secret Wars and Avengers Forever, amongst others.
