CARD TEXT: Donna Troy was found by Wonder Woman in a burning house and taken to Paradise Island to be raised by the Amazons. Donna studied their fighting techniques, their lore and their love of peace. She soon returned home with the special skills she learned there: the power to glide on air currents, deflect bullets with her bracelets and wield her lasso as Wonder Girl, member of the Teen Titans.

ITEM INFORMATION: This is the twelfth trading card in a set of 48 printed by DC in 1987 and distributed in groups of 8 as backing boards to multi-packs of comics. The cards were printed directly on the backing boards with dotted lines to separate them and a hanger at the top. A second series of 72 cards followed the initial 48 card run in 1989. The cards came in the following categories... GREAT HEROES, GREAT VILLAINS, and GREAT MOMENTS IN COMICS.

This particular card features a colour picture of Wonder Girl with logo on one side and a brief character profile on the other with a Wonder Girl logo above, a GREAT HERO logo below and copyright information at the side. The card has been neatly separated from its companions and is in near mint condition. It is free of marks, tears or other damage and there is no fading or discolouration. A rare piece of DC memorabilia which will greatly appeal to comics fans.
