The pad is compatible with the current (TC16B0, conical shape) and previous (rectangular shaped) generation of controllers. The pad has two plastic female connectors with four metal prongs. The controllers have male plugs with four holes. See photos.

This item is appropriate for someone who only needs a replacement for their current Biddeford pad only and would like to continue to use the two controllers that they have already have in place.
