A 75 piece set of silver plated cutlery made by premier UK silversmith Mappin & Webb in the "Chesterfield" Pattern.
This set is for 8 persons.
Set comprises 8 of; table knives, table forks, dessert knives, dessert forks, soup spoons, dessert spoons, fish knives and forks. 1 tea spoon missing, so 7 tea spoons. In addition there are 4 serving spoons.
Canteen has space in the box for a 3 piece carving set, not included in this sale.
Comes in a Mappin canteen box, no key.

Size: Each piece measures: TK (9 3/4" or 25 cm) TF (8 1/2" or 21.5 cm) ServSp (9" or 22.7 cm) DesK (8 1/2" or 21.5 cm) DesF (7 1/4" or 18 cm) DesSp (7 1/4" or 18 cm) SoupSp (7" or 18 cm) TeaSp (5 1/4" or 13 cm). FishK (8 1/4" or 21 cm) FishF (7 1/2" or 19 cm).
Condition: Cutlery is in good condition - used, so some light surface marks. Freshly polished and hygienically clean. Box in fair condition for age, with some scratches to the surface and discolouration, along with 2 broken pegs separating some of the spoons. Please see images above.
