Description: The Clarkson Collection 2 is a four-disc supercar bonanza featuring Powered Up, Thriller, Hot Metal and The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. There are the cars, including the Ferraris, the Porsches, the Lamborghinis and the Aston Martins to name just a few. Then there are Clarkson’s hilarious no-nonsense rants, the Stig in action, guest stars, behind-the-scenes stuff and brilliantly stupid stunts--and yep, everything else explodes.

Powered Up
For my all new DVD, I’m in the South of France.

My base?--The high-tech testing ground for Formula One--Circuit Paul Ricard. My mission?--To find find my favourite car of the year.
My candidates?--For starters there's a pair of Ferraris... the V12, 6.3 litre FF and the 458.

There’s the UK challenger to the 458... McLaren’s MP4-12C. Joining the action are the latest gizmo-laden Nissan GTR, Porsche's GT2 RS, the 570-horsepower Lamborghini Performante and the built-for-fun BMW 1M.

Helping me are tame racing driver The Stig and the not-so-tame Formula One new boy, Karun Chandhok. I look into the future--in the shape of the hybrid-engined Mugen Honda CR-Z... And there are blasts from the past as well. The beautiful Eagle Speedster--a modern twist on the iconic, timeless E-Type...with its 4.7 litre engine--and an eye-watering £500,000 price tag. And there's the all new Jensen Interceptor R with its 6.2 litre Corvette motor.

Plus, from the minds of boffins at a German museum, there’s the mighty Brutus...a vintage car fitted with a flame-spitting BMW airplane engine. Also there’s enough in-your-face power to flambé your eyebrows from the single-seater, super-lightweight B.A.C. Mono--capable of 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

Circuit Paul Ricard tests all these cars and more to the limit...
But it's not all about performance on the track. I take to the open road to see if small can be beautiful. I squeeze my sizeable know-how into the bonkers Citroen DS3 Racing, the pocket rocket Abarth 500C and the dinky Renault Clio Cup.

How to sum up all this action...Well, I sit in a chair, a man has a mishap....And a brown car goes round a corner....

What more could you want?...

ENJOY.....

Thriller
Welcome to my all new DVD Thriller, which, as the name suggests, is all about thrills at the wheel. Aston Martin’s gentleman thug, the DBS, takes on its rivals from Italy. The lightweight Lamborghini Superleggera battles it out on the track with Ferrari’s 430 Scuderia and my test of the best takes me to the breathtaking roads of the Swiss Alps, the no limits German autobahn--and, er, Norfolk.

I swap racing overalls for camouflage uniform to join the Marines at the controls of an all-terrain Viking before using its machine gun to shoot a Lexus…in the face. The 200 mph Porsche 911 turbo struts its stuff in its natural habitat--the autobahn. And I get a lungful of turbocharged fresh air from the 240 mph Pagani Zonda Roadster F. Then there’s the rocket science--Clarkson-style--as I fit a Porsche 944 with rocket launchers (they only look like drainpipes wrapped in silver foil). I also blast fireworks at a speed camera and have a bit of an accident with a double-decker bus. I drop a 7-tonne diesel engine on to a Highways Agency traffic-womble car--doing my bit to tidy the roads…while creating the world’s fastest diesel. Plus I’m joined by tame racing driver The Stig who gets a big surprise--as do you when you see what he likes to do with sheep. And everything else explodes.

Enjoy…..

Hot Metal
Everywhere you look, we’re slowing down. With concorde in a museum, air travel is slower. And even the fighter jets of today would be smashed by the interceptors from the sixties.

But what about cars? I decided to find out whether today’s cream can blast the monsters from the power crazed eighties. Are the new breed quicker in a straight line. Do they corner faster. Which are better looking and which can make the best noises.

That means the 200 mile per hour Jaguar XJ220 taking on a Pagani Zonda. It means pitting a Mclaren Mercedes SLR against a Porsche Carrerra GT--the first time ever these cares have been brought together. And it means lining up the new Fort GT with the car that spawned it--the old GT40. It means epic head to head drag races.

Naturally, the new Aston Martin DB9 is here too, taking on the old warhorses, the V8 Vantages. And the Evo 8? How much faster is it than the Evo 1. The answer might surprise you.

Oh and of course, I just had to riddle a Nissan with machine gun fire as I take up the new and dangerous sport of "Clay Car shooting".

Why? Why not!

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
Clarkson goes West! In an attempt to find the ultimate American car (or even a half-decent one), US models are pitched against their European counterparts. The trademarks of opinions galore and dry humour are as evident in The Good, The Bad, The Ugly as in any other Clarkson spectacle.
