Invicta Armour 39009

It’s quite difficult to describe this timepiece as there is just so much to mention. The amount of machining carried out to form the case on these models has to be seen to be appreciated. Everywhere you look there are three dimensional machining elements which defy belief. I have not seen another model by Invicta, or anyone else for that matter which has such a detailed case. At 54mm in dia these are large timepieces however I personally own one and find it wears very comfortably on my 7.5 inch wrist.

I will describe the functionality of these pieces and endeavour to take detailed photographs of the case work. These are Reserve pieces and as such the fit and finish is first class. The engine is the highly regarded Swiss Made Ronda 8040N 13 jewel model. The big date display sits in the 6 o’clock position with the retrograde day of the week display arcing across the dial between the 11 and 1 o’clock positions.

The dial is black, overlayed with a lattice work of silver which forms the outlines for the three sub-dials. Sub dials support chronograph functions of elapsed 1/10th seconds, seconds and accumulated minutes. Indices, hour and minute hands are finished in white lume, outlined in gold. The main sweep seconds hand is finished in white lume.

The unidirectional bezel measures 54mm across. Ten minute dive indices are in raised and polished form, sitting on top of gold bezel towers. Between these towers a patterned white lume has been applied. On the right side of the case can be found the 12mm dia crown, heavily three dimensionally machined and sporting the engraved Reserve Logo on its end. In the two and four o’clock positions, quite large torpedo hatch covers protect the chronograph pushers. The screw down crown and back along with the pusher hatch covers allow for a water resistance rating of 200 metres.

The solid single link bracelet is stunning, heavily machined from every angle, 6mm thick, 32mm wide at the case and tapering to 26mm at the clasp. The over centre double locking deployment clasp has been machined from a single piece of stainless and features micro adjustment.

I have removed some plastics on one of these pieces for better photographic modelling. I have stocks of another colour combination in this model which will retain the plastics. Both models are identical in case configurations. Timepieces are new with tag and paperwork. Comes in a One Slot Dive Case and will be sent for free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have a No Return setting on my listings in an effort to combat unethical buyers returning items at will for no good reason thus increasing prices for the rest of us. If you have an issue with any of my watches please contact me for resolution.

All watches listed by me are in stock here in Australia and will be sent to purchasers within 24 hours of purchase.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
