Grigori Petrovich Troyan (1925 stanitsa Staronizhestebliyevskaya, Kuban region - 2004 Lviv) was a Ukrainian painter, a member of the National all-Ukrainian Creative Union (NSHU 1988, Lviv organization). He studied at the Krasnodar Art School, graduated from the Odesa State Art School named after M. Grekova (1941). After the war, he lived in Nalchik and Kislovodsk, and from 1949 - in Lviv, where he worked in the art and production plant of the Art Fund of the Ukrainian SSR. H
He worked in the field of easel and monumental painting, thematic painting, landscape, portrait. He was a regular participant in numerous exhibitions from 1955 to 2000, personal expositions, of which there were twelve in the last quarter of a century (in the Lviv Region and the Caucasus). The rich and diverse creative heritage revealed the natural gift of Troyan the colorist and the indomitable temperament of his Kuban ancestors.
