SUMMARY:
A near mint  solid silver, key-wind Swiss cylinder pocket watch with a very rare full color enamel dial.  This is a beautifully made pocket watch, dating from  1864.

The watch is sold needing a clean and overhaul with possibly damaged pivot to balance staff, so sold as a project, no doubt needing work.

THE DIAL: 98% mint, the colored enamel dial with Roman numerals and in bright condition with no chips or hairlines. The dial with fine blue steel spade hands. Diameter is 36 mm. The crystal is also in excellent condition

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, a gilded three quarterplate and a Bosely regulator, and blue steel screws. An uncut three arm balance, with hairspring and cylinder escapement.

THE CASE: 95% mint, the solid silver case measures an impressive 39 mm. The front and rear covers are excellent, both are hinged and close nice and tightly. The case in very crisp and clean condition, most unusual for this type of case. This is a high quality watch, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition. The case with Swiss hall-marks and silver marks. The case band near the pedant with some dings.
