Pre-owned, very cool, lime green, soft-bound, thick book from 1982 - the early days of computers.  THE creative APPLE, edited by Mark Pelezarski and Joe Tate, is a treasure trove of late 70's early 80's days of computing.  This book combines cartoon sketches, illustrations, technical page photos and is written in a friendly manner like folks talking to each other about how great the computer is and shows what was the "thinking of the day" when it comes to possibilities and current capabilities.

This book would be a GREAT gift to give to someone who is really into computer life and loves a bit of history along with it.  Reminds me of the recent fiction book Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin, and also the classic 1983 movie War Games starring Matthew Broderick, Ally Sheedy, Dabney Coleman, and John Wood.  Remember that great movie and how suspenseful it was??

Take a look through my photos and see how interesting this book is.  It's not just some computing book about facts and figures.  It allows you to put yourself in the head of a bunch of folks from the very early 80's who just loved everything computers!
