Pre-owned vintage hardback book with dust jacket.  Illustrated with black & white reproduced photos, diagrams, maps, & drawings.

Pictorial dust jacket is very good, except for some scuffing at the bottom right corner of the rear of the jacket, where some of the paper has been scuffed away and scraped.  This scuffing is slightly evident on the underlying board where the grain of the cloth has been lightly rubbed away.  Some small bumps to the jacket and underlying board also further up  the joint and at the top right of the rear jacket.  Otherwise the jacket and green cloth boards look very good.  Titling in gilt to the spine of the boards.  Small printed stickers with some figures and previous owner's details on the front paste down. Jacket is price clipped at the front fold.  Folds somewhat toned with age.  A light handling crease to the front matter.  Internally the pages look very good, clean and tight.
